Cricket Ireland are running two First Aid and Child Protection courses in the Leinster region

Recognising the need for our sport to be conducted in a safe and controlled environment, Cricket Ireland are running two First Aid and Child Protection courses in the Leinster region. It is essential that anyone involved in cricket coaching has up-to-date Child Protection and First Aid Certificates, in addition to a Garda Vetting Certificate/Access N.I. Certificate.
Teacher Taster Day a Great Success

On Wednesday February 10th over 45 teachers from 25 schools returned to their youth and indeed the playground on attending the first ever Schools’ Sports Taster Day in Sportslink. The event was held by Fingal County Council’s Sports Office and their co-funded sports partners: The Football Association of Ireland (FAI), Tennis Ireland (TI), Leinster Cricket Union (LCU), Leinster Rugby (LR), Athletics Ireland (AI) and Sports Conditioning Ireland.
Leinster commence U’11’s girls squad training

Forty young enthusiastic cricketers attended the first ever Leinster U’11 girls training at a two-day training clinic held over the recent school mid-term break. Coaches Barbara McDonald, Carole McGuire, Sean McCann & Keara Pyne put the children through a variety of skill development activities with vast improvements being made over the two days.
Leinster announce U’17 training squad

An U’17 training squad has been selected for winter coaching sessions currently being held at North County Cricket Club. Eight coaching sessions between October and Easter will give the boys an opportunity to further develop their playing skills and to try to gain selection onto the Leinster U’17’s squad for this summers playing programme.
